remembering 1081

Sept. 21 - Martial Law. i wasn't born that day it was proclaimed but as a future historian i must learned its mistake and avoid further repitition of history. i know that history repeats itself but one should learn from its lessons that had been left.

Gotcha!!!

before this thing get flushed out in my memory, i was a bit doubtful that a guy i knew in school is oddly unusual. talk about "looks can be deceiving". anyway...i got the chance to confirm it in an NGO meeting where he is one of the host. good thing i got a pic of him in the net that was posted in a MIRC channel. using it to start a conversation, i said that someone is posting it over MIRC. he was shocked and said that "kahit na b******** ako eh i don't post my pics on the net so and so". boom! i got my answers :) . well honestly, i wasn't surprise kung ganun nga talaga siya. gusto ko lang naman malaman kung ganun nga talaga siya. well, kung san nga masaya ang tao eh dun siya. not bad for a pep squad member isn't it?

Robert Frost

Road Not Taken
-Robert Frost-

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that, the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

that's what I am right now. trying to make a difference in the world.
